By DrReload - Own work, CC BY 4.0, 90x42 inch cardboard cutout of the 1913 model of the motorcycle built by Arthur Davidson and Wiliam Harley. The original design wasn’t able to climb the hills around Milwaukee without pedal assistance, and that design was shrugged off as a learning experience. Since then, they’ve improved the engine and have been producing motorcycles for 120 years and counting.
