90x46 inch cardboard cutout of the Jantar Mantar Observatory. Maharaja Jai Singh II of Jaipur built this as one of five in india. Each Jantar Mantar is composed of 13 achitectural astronomy instruments for celestial time keeping. By compiling astronomical tables, and predicting the movements and times of the sun, moon and planets, this was a one of a kind type of astronomical instrument.
